How Pool Crew uses hth
We do not choose products by logo alone. We use the brand where its product range, compatibility and support make sense for the specific pool and the work being done.
That can mean routine water care, a replacement part, a new cleaner, a pump or filter upgrade, chlorination equipment or another component that needs to work reliably with the rest of the system.
Relevant product categories
- Granular chlorine and sanitising products
- Shock treatments and speciality care
- pH and total-alkalinity adjusters
- Algaecides, clarifiers and water testing
Our approach
Product selection is part of the service
For green or neglected pools, sanitiser, algae treatment and water balance are used as part of a staged recovery rather than a single heavy dose.
We consider pool volume, stabiliser, pH, alkalinity, filtration performance and bather load before deciding on treatment.

Questions
hth, explained
Does Pool Crew use hth for every pool?
Not automatically. We test the water and choose the treatment that suits the pool's chemistry and current condition.
Can hth products help with a green pool?
They can form part of the recovery process, but green water also needs correct brushing, circulation, filtration and follow-up testing.
Can you supply pool chemicals between services?
Yes. Speak to us about the products and quantities appropriate for your pool rather than over-dosing or mixing incompatible treatments.
