We base chemical treatment on testing and pool volume, not a fixed scoop-per-week routine.

Where it fits
How Pool Crew uses Africhem
We do not choose products by logo alone. We use the brand where its product range, compatibility and support make sense for the specific pool and the work being done.
That can mean routine water care, a replacement part, a new cleaner, a pump or filter upgrade, chlorination equipment or another component that needs to work reliably with the rest of the system.
Relevant product categories
- Chlorine sanitisers and pool floaters
- Algaecides and green-pool treatment support
- Balancer chemicals for pH and water correction
- Clarifiers and speciality pool-care chemicals
Our approach
Product selection is part of the service
In green-pool recovery, chemical treatment is coordinated with brushing, vacuuming and filtration so dead algae and debris are actually removed.
For ongoing maintenance, stable pH, alkalinity and sanitiser levels help reduce unnecessary chemical use and protect pool equipment.

Questions
Africhem, explained
Can Africhem products be used for a green pool?
Selected algae-control, sanitising and balancing products can form part of the treatment, but the pool also needs circulation, filtration and physical cleaning.
How do you know how much chemical to add?
We consider test results, pool volume, water condition and the product directions. More chemical is not automatically better.
Can regular pool care reduce chemical use?
Usually, yes. Stable filtration, routine cleaning and balanced water reduce the large corrective doses often needed after a pool has been neglected.
